Shay Robinson

I am Shay Robinson. This is my first year at Black Hawk, and my first year in college. I am nineteen years old, I will be turning twenty December sixth (Sagittarius). After graduating from Rock Island High School, I faced many obstacles, which as a result left me take a year off school. Yes, that was a setback, but it allowed me to save up money for a car, and allowed me to become independent, and more financially stable on my own outside of my single mother. Once I graduate from Black Hawk I will have my Associates of Science, then I will be transferring down south to either Mississippi, or Georgia to an HBCU college continuing to pursue my education. An HBCU college will give me more insight on culture, which I am becoming more interested in. My intended end goal of college is to excel, and become a successful Anesthesiologist.
