About

I am a very outgoing person who works hard at everything I do. If I do not know how to do something, I am a quick learner and I am always up for a challenge. I am a loyal individual, student, and worker. I have been going to school full time since I graduated high school in June 2010 as an honor graduate. I transferred to California State University San Marcos from Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA with an Associate's Degree in Psychology. I will be graduating from San Marcos in December 2014. I am fluent in English and American Sign Language and I know some Spanish. I plan to apply to graduate school at the end of the Fall 2014 semester because I want to pursue a master's degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis so I can specialize in the field of children with autism and other disorders. I have been accepted into the Master's program that will begin in January 2015. I currently work at an after school daycare program that has given me a lot of experience with mainstream children and special needs program. I also work as a Residential Behavior therapist in a group home that applies ABA therapy. I work well with other co-workers, parents, and children. My jobs require a lot of patience and it has helped me help the children in situations. I am CPR and First Aide certified. I am also volunteering in a different school district inside a classroom as a student teacher. I work along side of the elementary school teacher as she is educating me on her job and new experiences.

Outside the classroom

Set aside from my daily school and work schedule, I like to relax at home with my dogs and family. When I can find extra time I like to travel and take vacations with my family and friends. I enjoy spending a day going to dog beach with my dog and playing beach volleyball. The gym is also a place I like to visit often because it helps me feel stress free and gives me more energy each day.
