About

My interest in international affairs began when my father was employed with the State Department. I spent time in Europe, Central and South America. I speak Spanish proficiently and enjoy travelling. I am interested in working abroad again at some point in the future.
My area of specialty is international security with a minor in Latin American Studies.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I plan to take the Department of State Exam, although I would also be interested in working with Homeland Security or Border Patrol to begin my employment with the government here in Arizona.
I am also exploring opportunities such as becoming a diplomatic courtier.

Graduate school interests

If I could afford it I would love to attend graduate school, however, I do not want to take on additional debt at this time.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy board games, especially word games. I like to sight see, picnic, spend time with family and friends.
