About
Hello, my name is Shelby Berry. I am currently 17 years old. Some things that interest me include reading, drawing, writing and acting onstage with my fellow peers. I enjoy solving problems both on paper and in reality, whether it be mathematical equations or hypothetical problem solving. I have decided to further my education in two separate fields rather than just one. They are Theater and Finance. I have been told that my chances of doing this successfully are very low, but I am determined. I believe that old saying, "if you want something bad enough and work hard enough, you can make it happen". I have worked hard to maintain good grades and remain in the top 10% of my graduating class. My class ranking is currently 22 out of 320 students. I will also be the 1st in my family to go to college. Both of those are facts that I am very proud of and show the determination that I have.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My first career choice is Theatre, in which I hope to gain a career that will put a smile on the faces of the
audience or touch them emotionally in some way. Possibly helping them to be able to deal with a
situation they may be going through at that time and give them hope.
My 2nd career choice is a financial advisor. Through this field I would like to be able to help others become more
educated about their decisions where money is concerned.- Outside the classroom
Some things that interest me include reading. I enjoy reading to others and creating different voices and
personalities in the characters of the story. I also love drawing things that bring me comfort and let me
express my creativity. Other things that I enjoy are writing and acting onstage with my fellow peers.
