About

I am currently a Bachelor of Social Work student at Western Illinois University (Minor: Law Enforcement and Administration) with an anticipated graduation of May 2022. Contingent on my graduation from Western, I plan (and have accepted) to attend the Accelerated Advanced Standing Master of Social Work Program at University of Iowa starting in May 2022.
While working as an Assistant Store Manager, I learned to problem solve and make tough decisions, by utilizing my leadership and interpersonal skills. I’ve also handled various responsibilities in my position as a Direct Support Professional and through my Bachelor of Social Work Practicum. Through those experiences, I quickly established talents in prioritizing client needs, working with clients in their homes, filling out documentation to ensure proper funding could be allocated, and finding solutions to eliminate obstacles for clients.
