About
My academic and professional achievements have built a strong foundation for my long-term goal of advancing in healthcare management and becoming a leader who promotes equitable, patient-centered care. Earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare Management from Walden University has strengthened my ability to analyze systems, improve efficiency, and understand the broader social and economic factors that influence community health outcomes.
Professionally, my experience as a Front Office Specialist and Referral Coordinator at Texas Children’s Pediatrics has allowed me to put classroom knowledge into practice by streamlining patient access, coordinating referrals, and ensuring quality care delivery. My leadership role in interprofessional team projects, along with my membership in the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society, demonstrates my commitment to excellence, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
Each of these accomplishments brings me closer to my goal of pursuing a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and using my education to create programs that improve healthcare access for underserved populations. My journey reflects a balance of perseverance, compassion, and purpose—values that continue to guide both my academic pursuits and my career aspirations.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to advance into a leadership role in healthcare administration, where I can combine my business knowledge and patient-centered experience to improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare delivery. I aspire to become a Healthcare Practice Manager or Director of Operations within a pediatric or community health organization. In this role, I aim to develop policies that strengthen patient access, streamline administrative systems, and promote equitable care for all families.
My long-term goal is to continue my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, positioning myself to lead innovative programs that address healthcare disparities and create lasting, positive change in the communities I serve.
- Graduate school interests
I plan to pursue a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree to deepen my understanding of healthcare systems, leadership, and policy development. My goal is to build upon the strong business and healthcare foundation I developed at Walden University and gain the advanced management skills needed to lead within large healthcare organizations.
I am particularly interested in graduate programs that emphasize healthcare leadership, strategic planning, quality improvement, and community health equity. These areas align with my passion for improving patient outcomes and creating programs that expand access to care for underserved populations.
Earning my master’s degree will not only advance my professional growth but also allow me to mentor others in the field and play a key role in shaping innovative, compassionate, and efficient healthcare systems.
