About
My name is Shemiko Kay. I am from Louisiana but live in Texas. I have been in teh ducation field off and on since the age of 16 from daycares to high schools. I have been a certified classroom teacher for 10 years. I have been married for 18 years and have a 15 year olds son. I also have a 3 year old dog named Xena. I enjoy reading, cooking being with family and creating my own fashions. I love anything leopard, earrings, shoes and stacked bracelets.

I have worked as a 3rd grade Reading and Writing teacher for the past 5 years. I have taught 4th, 5th and 6th as well. I plan in a few years to become a Reading Instructional coach or Specialist.

After grad school I would liketo begin working closer with Reading Instructional coaches.
