I have been working in the mental health business for four years now as Compliance Assistant. In this position I'm in charge of the health record request and became interested in the security of the records. I decided to go back to school to get a degree for Health Information Technology because I wanted to know more about the security and technology of health record safety. With four years of experience in the field, I figured this would be the best path to move up in my position and have better options in careers.
