Sherryl Baca

I have enjoyed my college education more than I could have ever anticipated I would. I have learned about myself, about others, and about how learning something new can incite new paths of interest, even from day to day. Prior to attending Nevada State College, I have studied several other forms of alternative healing. Among them are Homeopathy, Reiki, Ayurveda, Aromatherapy, Yoga, and Meditation. Combining the education from Nevada State College and what I will gain in graduate school will allow me to combine all my years of training with my leadership experience of having owned and operated a business for more that 20 years into a field that will carry meaning, and healing to many. I heard my grandparents speak of Native American healing methods as a small child, it is a life long dream to have combined both education and life experiences to be a healer myself. in my travels throughout the world, I have participated in many types of healing programs, including nearly a month working in a homeopathic hospital in Jaipur India. I am excited to continue adding to my scope of knowledge in these areas.
