About

I am a dedicated and motivated individual with a passion for aquatic life, environmental sustainability, and animal welfare causes. Currently employed as an Aquatic Specialist at Petco, I have recently been promoted to a leadership position, showcasing my strong leadership and problem-solving skills. A graduate of Lake Dallas High School, I am currently pursuing a full-time education at North Central Texas College, where I have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement by earning a place on the Chancellor's List for maintaining a GPA of 3.8 during the fall semester of 2023.

As a first-generation college student, my journey is marked by determination and perseverance. My advocacy for environmental sustainability and animal welfare is evident through my work and personal interests. I am a member of the honor society and Phi Theta Kappa, highlighting my commitment to academic excellence and leadership in my community. Passionate about making a positive impact in the field of computer science, I plan to transfer to a university in the fall of 2024 to further my education and pursue my career goals. In addition to my academic pursuits, I enjoy building and maintaining aquatic habitats for freshwater fish, showcasing a blend of scientific curiosity and hands-on skills. Outside of work and academics, I find joy in walking my dogs, reading, and spending time with family.

My combination of academic excellence, leadership experience, commitment to environmental sustainability, advocacy for animal welfare, and involvement in honor societies, along with my status as a first-generation college graduate, make me a compelling candidate deserving of recognition and support through a college scholarship.
