As a student studying business at UMKC, I am constantly striving to fulfill an experience in the fashion industry. By being engaged in the student community, I have learned the importance of professionalism and essential elements of business. I have become a fast learner, hard worker and believe that organization and a little wittiness can be significant to success. I have always been fascinated by the development of trends in the fashion industry, and find beauty in people expressing themselves through a unique style.

I have always been interested in the fashion industry. Analyzing and marketing different styles to sustain the newest trends, is something I thrive to do. The combination of marketing and fashion has an ideal path for me to attain. With that being said, becoming a fashion buyer is an overall goal for me to achieve in my career. I am open to many positions in the fashion-business world, and look forward to seeing what opportunities bring about to me in the future.

In 2015, I plan on taking classes towards a fashion merchandising program. My goal after getting my bachelors degree is to gain hands-on experience in the business field for a couple years, and then purse an M.B.A. With the fashion industry being highly competitive, additional knowledge and experience in a business program will help me advance in my career.
