Hello! My name is Sophia Carpenter and I am a 21 year old from the Memphis, TN area. I love musical theatre, but also have love for teaching and creating in all ways. I have an Associates degree in theatre from Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia, MS. I am looking to continue my education at the University of Memphis, where I have already been accepted into their Department of Theatre and Dance.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to get my bachelor's degree in Musical theatre at the University of Memphis, and afterwards go to cosmetology school to get my license. My goal is to continue performing, while working as a professional makeup artist for weddings, events, and shows.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in maybe going into a graduate program for teaching or directing, specifically theatre.
- Outside the classroom
I love writing, mainly fiction and poetry.
I love creating fun and unique makeup looks, especially using songs or characters to base the looks on.
I was captain of the female bowling team in high school, and still love to practice when I can.
I love video games and movies, mainly the storylines and the beauty cinematic aspects.
