Goals and interests

Career goal

As a committed and enthusiastic student, I have pursued honors and advanced coursework throughout high school while maintaining strong academic performance. My passion for education and working with children has led me to pursue a career as a teacher. Currently, I am interning at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, where I work daily with kids in creative and educational settings. This hands-on experience has deepened my desire to teach and helped me develop skills in communication, patience, and leadership. Through this internship, volunteer work, and tutoring, I strive to embody the core values of scholarship, service, and dedication that define an Honor Society member.

Graduate school interests

I am passionate about pursuing a career in elementary education, with the goal of becoming a third or fourth grade teacher. I plan to earn my bachelor’s degree at Santiago Canyon College and continue on to complete my master’s degree in education at Long Beach State. My dedication to working with children has been shaped through hands-on experiences, including a 6-week internship at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, where I assist in directing daily art activities with young students, and volunteer work at Orange County Rescue Mission, where I’ve supported children in learning and play. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills, creativity, and patience—qualities I believe are essential in the classroom. I am excited to continue building my academic foundation and gaining the experience necessary to become a compassionate and effective educator.
