Stefan Williams

I appreciate my recognition as an exemplary student in academia. My entire life I have known that I was intelligent, reluctant to say not many people outside of academia has seen me as such. I am therefore happy to accept my induction into Honor Society. I was born in Saint Andrew, Jamaica. It was difficult for me in the aspect of enjoying the many benefits that are available to students here in the United States of America Needless to say I excelled in my course-work none-the-less. At the age of seven I came to the United States and was exposed to a whole new, diverse group of people which was very alien and new to me. Suddenly the words "melting pot" were added to my vocabulary and resided there for a number of years. I bypassed my final year in Miramar High School forgoing the final year and though I was not officially recognized for it, I continued on knowing that one day my earnest work-ethic and diligence would be looked upon as beneficial to society regarding the profound potential in it.
I created my first company when I was nineteen years of age. A small mobile car-wash adequately named Industrial and Marine Detailing. There was a business partner, Michael Almonte, and a single employee who's work was contingent upon whether we needed the assistance for the day or not. Our net profits were Five Thousand USD. I was Co-Owner/Human Resources and, tedious as it was, I fell in love with entrepreneurship. Our company did not stand the test of time, however, due to the fact that Michael decided to be a CDL Driver. In the end, we parted ways and liquidated the company to my sheer disdain.
At the age of twenty I was diagnosed with schizophrenia and this brought forth many troubles for me. I was always intelligent and now there were a myriad of doctors telling me that there was something wrong with my brain. I fought the diagnosis for over a decade and still fight it to this very day. However, I understand that processes need to be taken to ensure that I am not a danger to myself or society, so I take psychotropic medications, seven in the morning and eight before bed along with an injection every three weeks. I continue on, however, knowing that I can achieve my dream of being an entrepreneur again and my dream will be realized because I have in me the determination to do it. I accept nothing but the best and expect nothing but the best because I put forth efforts that are nothing less than the best. My standards of achievement are always at the maximum and will remain there as they have always been.
