About

My educational journey began in prison, where I earned my GED and completed 52 college credits with a 4.0 GPA while serving a five-year sentence. Being forced to confront the consequences of my choices became a turning point in my life. What started as a commitment to self-improvement grew into a passion for education, personal growth, and creating a better future.

During my incarceration, I completed a nonviolence program, helped build a weekly mastermind group focused on learning and self-development, and became committed to fostering growth in both myself and those around me. Through these experiences, I learned that leadership is less about authority and more about service, consistency, and setting an example.

My faith, dedication to fitness, and pursuit of education have instilled discipline, resilience, and intentionality in the way I approach life. Today, as an independent transfer student, I remain committed to academic excellence, and to expanding opportunities for others who have faced significant barriers. I hope to use my education to create meaningful social impact and demonstrate the transformative power of second chances.
