About
In 2022, I was in a dark place, convinced by my abusive husband that my children and the world would be better off without me. Despite these challenges, I held onto a glimmer of hope for a better future. In 2023, after he violently attacked me in front of our children, I took decisive steps to change our circumstances. I secured a restraining order, initiated a divorce, and sought therapy for myself and my children, which significantly improved our lives. Motivated by a desire to provide for my family and prove my worth, I enrolled in college. Overcoming the constant belittlement, I not only attended college but also achieved honors, setting a positive example for my children. My journey from despair to empowerment marks significant personal growth and resilience.
