About

I am currently a Paramedic, I currently work in a hospital emergency room as a technician. I assist nurses and doctors with the care of emergent patients that come into the ER. Working in the emergency room has reflected to me that selfless service is the essence of the nursing profession. I believe all the lessons that I have derived from the fifteen years of work in EMS and the ER made my conviction of pursuing the nursing profession stronger. I have been able to add value to my skills. I have the sense of fulfillment that comes with the job; it provides comfort and security regardless of the challenges. I have the mental and emotional energy that it takes for me to do a good job. I am currently married to my husband for nearly 10 years. I have one son who is 20 and two step children, daughter who is 20 and son who is 13. I have lost both of my parents, my father died of a sudden heart attack in 2001 at the age of 44 and my mother I lost in a tragic motorcycle accident July of 2014. I witnessed the horrific accident and since then have become a strong, independent person, who wants to achieve as much as I can to better myself and make the people that mean the most to me proud. I have attended many classes that I have received multiple certifications in that aid me in being the best Paramedic that I can be. I love learning and furthering my knowledge as much as I can. Hobbies and interest include anything outdoors. I love yard work, wood work, crafting, painting, to camping, and motorcycle rides. I could be on water or in an open field, and that is where I am most happy. I also love organizing and cleaning. I have a bit of OCD when it comes to organization and cleanliness. I love scrapbooking memories that I can cherish. I love family time. With my inconsistent schedule and my husbands who is a Fire Fighter, every moment of our family time is cherished and used to the best as it can.
