About
Hi, I am Stephanie Zevallos. I am a 1st Generation student and I am currently attending Utah State University. I graduated from Hunter High School in 2019, then shortly after I attended Salt Lake Community College and graduated 2021. My current graduation date is December 2023 and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I am passionate about teaching students and learning so much about them. I want to give students to opportunity to succeed in their academics. I want also for students to learn about themselves, I have learned so much in my Content Block classes in Spring 2023 and I am going to use all that I have learned in my classroom and more! I will strive to be a great educator and work hard for my students success. I love working in my current job as a Paraeducator at my local Elementary helping the ELL students read. I am so excited and honored to join the Honors Society and I hope to gain so much information and opportunities from this organization :)

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I plan to be an Elementary Teacher and also I have interest in being a counselor also at an Elementary School. I am currently a Paraeducator in an local Elementary and I am working with the ELL students with reading interventions 4 times a week. I work in small groups and I am also going to Utah State full time at the same time.
- Graduate school interests
I am interested in what Utah State University has to offer in Masters program , but currently I am just planning to go into my Bachelors and start off as a teacher. I am planning on doing my Masters but that is in the later future while I am teaching.
- Outside the classroom
I love to build relationships with anyone and especially with my profession I do plan to continue to making more connections with students and I think that school is very essential for them. I plan to assist the students not only academically, but emotionally. I also love to draw and be very creative. I love to use 2 different mediums which are, regular pencil and oil paints, and also digitally.
