Suetania Emmanuel

I have a strong academic interest in various aspects of education, including pedagogy, curricular design, and education as a means of achieving social justice. As I obtained my B.A. in Social Science and Secondary Education, I began to develop more of a critical consciousness of education as perhaps the most important item on the collective agenda of the Virgin Islands, and this realization led me to obtain an M.A. in the field of Educational Leadership. Completing my M.A. led me to realize that my journey as a scholar-practitioner is not complete, so I am now pursuing a PhD in an education-related discipline.
