About
As a first-year international student pursuing a bachelor's degree in physics from Miami University, I have successfully managed to balance my personal and academic life continuing the same passion I first began with, or more in fact. My curious nature always has me not only questioning the wonders of the world but also look eagerly for solutions. An academic beast who has always passed all my courses with flying colors, a member of the Physics club who hosted every event, managed all conferences and subsequently handled the responsibilities of a leader in my later years of memberships, I possess all the qualities necessary for a man exploring the dimensions of success. In my personal life, I dared to travel 2000 miles from my comfort zone in order to pursue my dreams of becoming a successful physicist and to explore life on from a different perspective. Not only did I handle the hardships of this huge transition calmly, but also did not allow any external circumstances to affect my passion in my area of interest. My consistently high GPA is a proof enough for this. Dealing with my past while still having a positive outlook for the future is something I consider to be my biggest achievement in life.
Shifting the focus to professional skills, I have always strived for betterment. I led the team that participated in a national level model designing competition in 2019 that was held in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi) and secured second position. We researched and designed bioplastic manufacturing miniature that competed with models from all around the nation. In 2018-19, I received monthly trophies for being consistent with my progress on the "Robomate". These trophies were awarded a few selected from each class in the school. From 2020-2023, along with managing my studies, I conducted my research in the fields connecting psychology and spirituality in the form of surveys, case studies and integrating information from pre-written articles, artifacts and manuscripts. Although that research was a failure, and it eventually made me lose my interest in psychology, bringing me back to the world of physics, yet I never regarded that phase of my life as a waste. I was consistent, faced my biggest failure, and learnt the most important lesson of my life that failures are not a waste of time, they serve a bigger purpose. Maybe psychology was not meant for me, and it acted as a sign to bring my attention to physics.
