Summer Reese

I am currently a Junior at Concordia University Wisconsin. My major is Photography with minors of Graphic Design and Business. As I grew up art was always a big part of my life and as the years went on Photography became the biggest focus of how I wanted to continue my education. My family has always been into volunteering and helping the community. Throughout all of my education I have found a way to continue that by finding at least one group to join that does some type of volunteer work. I also was fortunate enough to go on Mission Trip with my church going into Freshman year of High School. Then again with my college I was able to go down to Eastern Kentucky for Mission Trip during my Sophomore year Spring Break. During this I absolutely fell in love with the people and what I was able to do while down there so I took a Summer Internship down there. Also, during all of my long school breaks during my Junior year I have gone back down to Kentucky to help out and to find my eye in what has been interesting me photographically. Due to being down in Kentucky and seeing all of these different areas of the region I have decided to take all of my photography classes from my Spring 2017 semester until I graduate in May of 2018 and create a beautiful body of work based on that area of Appalachia.
