Graduate school interests

My objective is to request the opportunity to receive funding through a scholarship in order to pursue a masters in bilingual education, and masters in school leadership at Southern Methodist University at Dallas, TX. It would be my greatest pride to be a part of a school transformation movement that will help develop the next generation of school administrators. Essentially, I maintain the strong belief that the program will provide me with the tools and techniques needed in order to provide excellence services to students, parents, and the community. Through research-based practices and innovative breakthroughs in education, the program can most definitely help me establish cooperative, professional relationships with parents, staff and administrators. As a current educator and graduate student, it is my personal mission to focus on implementing highly effective instructional practices to improve student learning and academic performance, as well as quickly identify and resolve challenging classroom situations. These are skills can help manage strategic decision making in school leadership positions, by prioritizing students' success, as well as their holistic development. Being a part of this leadership program becomes for me a passionate, persistent and inextinguishable drive that allows me to push for my professional growth and become an advocate in the community. I hope you can consider my application as I have the confidence that together we can make a positive impact in the community and most importantly in my student's lives.

Outside the classroom

Activities that I do regularly in my own leisure time for pleasure include reading, volunteering, playing tennis, running, trying new restaurants, new rides at Six Flags as well as spending time with friends and family.
