Goals and interests

Career goal

I have already retired twice and am currently working part time. I am a teacher and a writer and have served as a state-wide trainer in volunteer program management for three Texas governors. I am a published writer of poetry and short stories and am sending out queries for a first novel, while researching a second.

Graduate school interests

I enjoy the classes and the challenge of continuing to learn as I age. The professors are wonderful, and my classmates interesting and caring people. They give me hope for the future.

Outside the classroom

Reading, writing, live theater, learning to bake gluten-free, egg free cookies for my grandchildren.
