• 10+ years experience in volunteering for various Christian community service organizations, which includes 5+ years as volunteer for various organizations providing services to the homeless (both in Michigan and Texas), most specifically Detroit Rescue Mission Soup Kitchen and Salvation Army Harbor Light Ministries);
• 10+ years experience as a prison volunteer and later a mentor in both Texas and Michigan prisons.
• 2 years experience as an Assistant Probation Officer for Texas juvenile detention center
• 1 year as a volunteer for the Travis County Juvenile Probation Department as a secretary; attended and took notes at juvenile detention hearings, etc.
• 1 year – volunteer mentor at Giddings State School in Giddings, Texas, a juvenile correctional facility of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department
• 1 year – volunteer Assistant Adult Probation Officer with Travis County, Texas Adult Probation office;
• 10+ years clerical/legal secretary background which included providing clerical support to various law enforcement and correctional agencies as well as various law firms in both Texas and Michigan.
