About

For the past four years of high school, I have been continuously active and a part of my high
school. I am always willing to try new things and love being uncomfortable because that
strengthens me. One example would be that I decided to join the swim team at my high
school, where I had no prior competitive swimming experience during my sophomore year.
The experience was a roller coaster; it was never about the result but the process of enduring
these hardships and good times. Swimming not only allowed me to become a fitter person
but also allowed me to prepare myself for my sport, which is soccer. It also allowed me
to learn more about being disciplined, a characteristic I am very proud to have. It shows that
through anything from studying for an upcoming exam to waking up bright and early to show
up to my class to even continuing to go to the gym and work out. Another positive characteristic
is keeping up my good grades even when busy with two sports and many clubs I
participate in. It shows that I have excellent time management skills that will be used during
college when keeping up with my assignments or going to sleep early so as not to miss my
morning classes. These things shape the way I am and makes me who I am.
