About

My name is Sylvia Nunez; I was born in Fresno, California on February 28, 1996. I have been a resident of a community of Del Rey, California for all my life. I am an only child of Antonio and Gloria Nunez, who were Mexican immigrants, and worked their way up to be a Naturalized U.S. Citizen. My parents have taught me the importance of following my dreams and to never fear the obstacles that we might face. Since obstacles are the ones that make you grow. They have expressed that through efficient and effective work and study, any dream can convert to reality. Now, I am working my way into obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Health and Science Administration. As soon as I achieve this goal, I would go out to the workforce, and apply my knowledge. As the time comes, continue my education and pursue a Masters Degree in Public Health.

Goals and interests

Career goal

As I complete my studies, I hope to progressive in positions in different work areas. Also, I would be looking to work at a medical facility, around Fresno County. As I start the Master's Program, I will also work, which will allow applying the knowledge, and the knowledge gained from work will hep my understanding. When everything is completed, I will like to work for Saint Agnes or Valley Children's Hospital. In which they both have great programs and a variety of help programs.

Graduate school interests

After December 2017, I hope to begin the Public Health Master's Program, at California State University. Meanwhile, I will be working in any medical facility. Working in a medical facility will allow to enhance my learning in this field, and be well prepared for my future job.

Outside the classroom

There is not enough time in the day to complete everything, which I do not have much free time. Except, when I have free time, I like to sing, help around my church, and dance. Except, the one I enjoy the most, would be spending time with my family.
