About

I am a double major (Biology (Premed) and Computer Information Systems) sophomore at Loyola University New Orleans. I am also a twelve-year (soon to be thirteen) brain cancer survivor. I was diagnosed at 6 years old. I was treated at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It is my dream to work at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as a pediatric neuro-oncologist and cure children with brain cancer. Working at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to "Find cures. Save children." is my way of giving back to them for curing me.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended job path is to be a Pediatric Neuro-Oncologist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Graduate school interests

After earning my two degrees from Loyola University New Orleans, I plan to attend medical school at Emory University Medical School in Atlanta, GA.

Outside the classroom

I have many hobbies: biking, swimming, programming, and community service. The best of my hobbies is possessing technology skills. Technology is a great interest of mine. I am the "IT personnel" around my household. Whenever there is a problem with technology (wifi; tablet, iPhone, or computer malfunction) around the house, they call me and I get the issue fixed.
