About
My name is Taliah Lewis, and I am a senior at Bishop McNamara High School (BMHS) in Forestville, Maryland, where I maintain a 4.37 GPA as a dedicated member of the Honors Program. As a 2026 graduate, I plan to major in Political Science on the Pre-Law track. I am a scholar, leader, with a creative spirit, and embody both discipline and purpose. Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about making an impact. I began my student government journey as a freshman and sophomore Public Relations Liaison, then served as Junior Class President, and now, in my senior year, elected as the BMHS Executive Student Body President. I am also a proud member of multiple honor societies, including NHS, Rho Kappa, and the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. I always lead with empathy, purpose, and passion.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
Throughout my high school journey at BMHS, I have been intentional about turning every opportunity, whether academic, extracurricular, or service-based, into a stepping stone toward my future. I aspire to pursue a career in law, focusing on civil and criminal justice, and the work I have done so far has helped me take confident steps in that direction.
- Graduate school interests
Concluding undergard, I paln to attend Howard University, Columbia Law School , New York University (NYU) School of Law , or University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
- Outside the classroom
In my free time, I find joy in life’s most meaningful expressions: writing creatively, mentoring peers, exploring the arts, and of course dancing! Dancing has not only shaped my discipline but has also shaped my character. Whether choreographing or freestyling, dance is my therapy, my joy, and my truth.
Dance has taught me patience through repetition, resilience through failure, and pride through perseverance.
