Medical Assistant/Receptionist
I am currently employed at " Capital Digestive Care, where we prep for colonoscopies and endoscopies. I work alongside doctors to treat patients with Crohn's disease, Irritable bowels syndrome, constipation, colon cancer, hemorrhoids, and so much more. I stated my healthcare journey, January 13,2021 at First Call Medical Center; where I learned how to swab covid patients, perform strep test, EKG test, vitals, and Iv infusions for the current covid patients which would ultimately make them feel a lot better after the infusion was complete. The reason I decided to join the medical field while in school is to be a helping hand to the world. Though some may impose, covid was the best time to join the medical field because there begin to be a shortage of MA's, Nurse's, and Doctors since covid was a very large sickness that spread around the world. I do not regret the process of joining the medical field and if left with the decision to do it over again, I would do it again!
