About
I am a woman of many hats: Biological Mom of 3, and caring Mom of 75 (my students). I am currently a Grad Student pursuing my Masters of Education in Secondary Education with a concentration in STEM with a GPA of 4.0. I received my Associates in Computer Information Systems (GPA 3.1) as well as Medical Office Management (GPA 3.3), and Bachelors in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior (GPA 3.5 - Cum Laude).
I have worked in the field of Education for 13 years and have done it all: Paraprofessional (general and special education), Substitute Teacher, Interventionist, Co-Teaching and now full time Teacher. As a full time teacher, I started off as a 7th/8th (8th Grade Homeroom teacher) Math and Science teacher.. after my completion with our Leadership Fellows Program, I am currently Middle School Lead and Math teacher at a charter school in Indiana. I plan to prepare for a role in Administrative Leadership in the next 3 to 5 years.
I partake in extra curricular activities as a Step Team Coach and Mentor. I help guide my young ladies to strive for their best and persevere through anything they come across. I am also a Sorority member of Sigma Chi Psi. Both of these organizations allow me to build and support my community by donating and volunteering our time for those in need.
I am an all-around people person. I love working with individuals who are not afraid to say they need the assist from another heartfelt individual.
