About

A recent senior varsity football team captain and student ambassadors, an honor given to students based on academic and social accomplishments, as well as leadership and respect. To be chosen as ambassador means you are a leader. As a result of playing football, and the ambassador experience, I have become a more mature and disciplined individual. I’m able to deal with my problems without crumbling. I’ve learned what’s worth my time and what isn’t. I am no longer in need of adult supervision to take care of my business. I am independent, trustworthy, outgoing and express my feelings clearly and confidently. I am equipped to move forward in my life. I am focused and determined. Although playing football is not my soul’s aspiration, I still appreciate what it has instilled in me. The traits and lessons that I’ve learned and has changed my outlook on life, in which I can also apply to life and adulthood are; perseverance, camaraderie, restraint, study skills, tenacity and leadership.
