About
My name is Tasha Jackson, and I am a first-generation college student dedicated to advancing mental health services in underserved communities. I have earned an Associate Degree in Psychology with High Distinction and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. I graduated with high honors, earning Magna Cum Laude. I am currently pursuing a Master of Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Albany State University, where I maintain a 4.0 GPA.
Through my academic journey and service to others, I have developed a strong commitment to advocacy, education, and mental wellness. As a volunteer with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, I have provided support to individuals experiencing emotional distress and mental health crises.
I plan to continue my education and deepen my understanding of mental health, sociology, and the social issues that impact individuals and communities. By expanding my knowledge, I hope to better understand the factors that influence mental health and strengthen my ability to provide meaningful support to every person I encounter.
