About

First, if I were to describe myself in three words, I would say I am curious, optimistic, and persistent. For example, I go into a library and come out with ten books, excited to dive into new minds and worlds! I love being exposed to new perspectives and dream of writing my own book someday. I try my best to make the best out of every opportunity thrust on me and always strive to complete it to the best of my ability.

Secondly, I am a senior in High School, looking at a long-term goal of going to a strong college and pursuing a job as a Veterinarian who cares for aquatic animals. Working with fellow brilliant minds to make incredible animals' lives better is something I would be honored to be a part of. Extra money for college tuition would help me get closer to this career.

In addition, I am someone who knows how to strive for my goals and overcome obstacles. For example, I am the eldest of three siblings with a widowed mother, with all A's, while playing three sports. I'm also an elected officer in my healthcare club. This shows I overcome my time management complications to handle all my responsibilities.

Lastly, I am someone who makes keeping her faith, academic, mental, physical, and financial life balanced a top priority. I am a candidate who will not take anything for granted, and who will use every opportunity I'm blessed with to reach my goals and dreams.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My dream job is being an aquatic animal veterinarian that is part of rescues and rehabilitation of incredible creatures. However, if life has other plans for me, my backup plan is to be a regular veterinarian.

Graduate school interests

After obtaining a bachelors degree of science, my plan is to apply to vet school.

Outside the classroom

I love spending my early mornings training for cross country, which means running about four to five miles per day. I enjoy the hard work and commitment the sport requires to be great. In between classes I usually have my head in a mystery or Sci-fi novel, and occasionally writing short stories. My evenings are filled with soccer practice and hangouts with my friends and family.
