Goals and interests
- Career goal
Although I am not sure what specific career path I want to persue, but I do know that I want to pursue a line of work in political science. Careers include:
-Urban/ Regional Planner: to construct land, use plans and programs that support the development of communities, allow for population increase, and renew physical infrastructure.
-Criminal Defense Lawyer: With the rising cases of wrongfully accused minorities, I believe that it is incredibly important that they are able to have a voice in a heavily biased justice system.
-Paralegal: As someone who is heavily interested in the justice system and is somewhat educated and eager to learn more, I believe a paralegal would be a possible profession for me. Paralegals can do factual and legal research, produce pleadings and discovery notices, prepare papers for legal transactions, interview clients and witnesses, help at closings and trials, and evaluate and organize client files.- Outside the classroom
-I have recently began to enjoy reading non-fiction books
-I am currently seeking for community servies and school clubs to join so that I can be more involved in my community

In highschool, I was accepted into the Criminal Justice Career and Technical Education Program. As a Criminal Justice student, I have continuous communication with members of the community, law enforcement officials. I routinely participate in a multitude of community service events to assist others within the community such as teaching children the importance of crime safety to improve personal safety and knowledge of crime in the United States. There was also a program that we participated in that was called Teen Court in which High school students serve as the court's bailiff, clerk, juror, prosecuting attorney, and defense attorney during the disciplinary part of the reported violation in Teen Court, an alternate way of justice. Where participants in Teen Court learn how to control offenders' attitudes and conduct in an appropriate and efficient manner. This paper includes resources and describes the Teen Court's procedures.

As a former Girl Scout, we participated in numerous community servies to help improve our enviornment and assist others within our community. One of the many community services I took part in was at soup kitchen (that we engaged in frequently) to serve less fortunate families and individuals. Another community service I participated in was collecting presents for children who live in shelters.
