About
I am starting at Plymouth State University in the fall of 2016! I was recently studying at Mansfield High School, and graduated this past June. I used to be one of the students who struggled immensely at school, but I then learned to love learning! My grades and education have been increasing ever semester of high school and I try my hardest to never get off track. In my junior year of high school my father had unexpectedly passed away which affected my personal and academic life. Although it was difficult to focus at school since I was suffering from ptsd, I never lost motivation to keep my grades up and to continue to study!
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I intend to become an elementary school teacher. I have always aspired to teach young children because I am confident that teaching is my job path and I also have a love for children.
- Graduate school interests
In order to become an elementary school teacher I will need to get my Master's degree, which I intend to do.
- Outside the classroom
I have played basketball for the past 10 years for a club team. I also have done volleyball camps the past two summers. Freshman and Sophomore year of high school i participated in winter track and fall cheerleading as well.
