About

I am Taylor Richardson, and I have lived in California for the vast majority of my life. I’m 17 and am currently completing my high school years, set to graduate in 2026–eager to pursue higher education the following semester. Having always greatly cared about my schooling, I strive to do my best, having maintained a consecutive 4.0 GPA all throughout high school, and have achieved passing scores on all 4 of the AP Exams I have taken as of now. I can describe myself as someone who is still searching for her place in the world. Since I was a child I have always been just awestruck and fascinated by the world around me—itching with excitement to discover more about it. I long for the day I may travel across the great stretch of earth we call home, not just to find my place in it, but to discover the vast intricacies and nuances that are just waiting to be uncovered.

Goals and interests

Career goal

While I don’t know exactly what I plan on doing yet, I am interested in a multitude of careers relating to the humanities. Whether I land on government, law, business, English, etc I don’t know just yet, but I believe that my college experience will help me make that decision.

Graduate school interests

After obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I hope to attend law school.

Outside the classroom

I have always been fascinated and captivated by the arts, particularly the musical and visual art forms. I also have always loved to write, and am always thinking about what I could write about next. Additionally, I love cooking along with thrifting and crafting—I love creating my own things and turning scraps into treasures. But most of all, for as long as I can remember I have been enthralled with video games. Whether it be the musical scores, the variety of art direction, the complex characters and storylines, the intricacies of the gameplay, or even just the sentimental value I have for them—there’s something for me to adore about every game I play.
