Teresa Malvasio

I recently graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology from the College of Staten Island CUNY, where I developed a deep interest in human behavior, personal development, and the environments that shape people’s growth. Alongside my major, I completed minors in Women’s Gender & Sexuality Studies, Sociology/Anthropology, and Critical Criminology & Social Justice, which broadened my understanding of social systems, structural inequality, and the diverse experiences that influence individual well‑being.

These experiences have strengthened my communication and problem‑solving skills, and I’m committed to applying them in roles centered on counseling, support, and community impact. I’m motivated by work that empowers others and excited to continue growing in fields that blend psychology with meaningful human connection.
