About

I am a mother of four children and I am hearing impaired; yet, I have fought hard to continue my education. I have successfully completed my Bachelor degree, and I am working on completing my Masters. I am an ATEC student and I live through art. I have been a housewife for 15 years and I really wanted to do something with my life. I did not want to spend the rest of my life as a housewife. I also wanted to get an education and use it as an example to my kids. I wanted my children to see that education is the most powerful weapon they can use to change the world. I also wanted my children to have a successful future and not go through hardship I once went through. My oldest son just graduated from high school and he is the first person in the family to go straight to a University from high school. I am the first person in the family to receive a Bachelor Degree. It may be difficult to carry on all of my responsibilities, but it is worth every minute of my life. I may not have a job experience, but I am building experience through education and practices. Once I complete my Masters, I will devote my time getting a career that my family and I can be proud of.
