About
An international student currently based in San Francisco, CA, attending the Academy of Arts (currently in my final year).
I have experience writing for a variety of media – newspapers: I wrote a weekly film review column for “The Daily Mirror”, and contributed with several articles for “The Nation” newspaper in Sri Lanka (my home country); I wrote articles that were featured on international sites like theculturetrip.com (San Francisco section) and tremr.com.
I also wrote and directed three natural history documentaries in 2014 (“Brown Wood Owl,” “The Devil Bird of Sri Lanka,” and “For Devil’s Sake: Owls of Sri Lanka”) that were screened at several international film festivals.
