Thomas Stief
Summary
After serving in the U.S. Navy both stateside and abroad I have been pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering. Currently, I am working with Kleinfelder as a Geotechnical Specialist/ Technician gaining hands on experience with construction operations and quality control and assurance. I have become very interested in structural engineering and look forward to continuing my education and training further.
Intended Job Path
Desired job path would be in the field of structural engineering. Residential really has sparked my interest, but other fields especially in structural steel and reinforced concrete applications are also of interest.
Grad School Interests
Strong desire to continue my education in structural engineering. However, a solid foundation of field knowledge would be more beneficial before pursuing a Master's degree.
