Tighe Scott

I am a Veteran's Advocate Professional with experiences in local government, corporate and military operations. I have 6 years of experience in a Fortune 100 Insurance Operations Center as a People Leader and Operational Planner. I am trained in Contact Center Operations as well as the Scaled Agile Framework Execution (SAFe) in developing and implementing positive customer experiences.

I have coached and mentored entry level to long tenured employees on how to properly market themselves, and how to continue to grow their leadership skills. I also have experiences in customer service management, case management, conflict de-escalation and resolution, brand awareness, and “righting previous wrongs” and improving the overall customer experience therefore, saving / maintaining trust and business.

I have experiences in Army Operations and Leadership and have led people in both stateside, overseas, and in armed conflict environments. In the Military, I have vast experiences in all aspects of; short term, mid-term, and long term planning, strategy realization, training assessment, and most importantly, Leadership Development.

I am certified to instruct the Experiential Learning Model (ELM), and the Evaluation of Instruction (EIC), in a Graduate Level Accredited Program. I have experience in face-to-face instruction as well as Virtual Collaboration. I have experience in the developing, presentation, and assessment of National Level and Strategic Level briefings to Senior Executive Leaders.

In my personal experiences, I have multiple years of experience in navigating the Veterans Affairs (VA) disability claims process, navigating the VA primary healthcare & behavioral health system. I have attended numerous Veteran Career Assistance & Career Transition courses and have experience in relaying and assisting others in the numerous career options and benefits that are present in today’s tumultuous working environment. I currently work as an Intake Specialist for Veterans Employment Services at my local County Veteran's Services Office.

Lastly, I have a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies, and am currently enrolled in a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program. I am an advocate of Lifelong Learning and constantly help and mentor others in believing in the same mindset.
