Timothy Ryan

I am a Massachusetts Certified Arborist with intensive training in all aspects of production tree care in urban settings. I have an Associates of Science in Arboriculture from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and a Bachelors of Science in Urban Forestry Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

My primary interests are in maximizing sustainable food production in urban centers and using the urban canopy to simulate natural forested conditions capable of providing a net-positive interaction with its citizens. My plan for the next two years is to gain hands on experience about methods currently in production by different institutions and/or companies that are at the forefront of these practices in and around the United States. After that, My five year plan is to open a business that will cater to the personal needs of citizens in both the public and private sector so we can address the rising cost of food prices while tending to the environmental, economic and medical concerns that most growing urban centers invariably pose
