Goals and interests

Career goal

I am pursuing a career in the field of research and clinical practice in psychology and neuroscience. I have not quite tailored out a specific career path but I am interested in the neurological underpinnings of human behavior, emotion, and cognition. I love finding new ways in which abnormal psychopathology can be assessed and treated. In order to pursue this dream, I am planning on going to graduate school and eventually obtain my master's and PhD in Clinical Psychology or Neuroscience. It would be great to work in an academic environment not only to teach but to apply research findings to the clinical world in order to better assess and treat patients suffering from mental illness.
