Tina Baker

I am currently A senior at Camden High School. I am a member of the JAG program which stands for Job for American Graduates . I have a 4.0 GPA this marking period and I want to keep it that way . I am also a dancer and choreographer .I have been dancing since i was 5 years old . I am a member of the Camden Sophisticated Sisters Drill team. I have been a dedicated member since the 6th grade. I was captain of the senior squad for three years . I come from a community of poverty and killing but I never allowed that to determine who I was and am . I am a first in the family college student . I am graduating this June in the top of my class and have accomplished everything people said I wouldn't . When i was in the seventh grade I received a scholarship from Rutgers University that covers my tuition . I am a Rutgers Future Scholar . My dream is to be a aid to my community . To make it a better environment for the children after me . I plan to continue the legacy and make Camden Sophisticated Sisters (CSS) a worldwide program . Css saved my life , I was on the road to destruction . I was fighting everyday and following the wrong crowd . Now I am a mature independent young lady and I respect my self enough to know what I'm worth , all because of this program and its owner Tawanda Green Jones. Ms.Jones has yet to give up on me and I appreciate her everyday because she is truly a blessing . I Dream to receive my PhD in Physical Therapy.
