About

I have a background in law enforcement telecommunications. I worked as a police dispatcher from 2003 to 2012. In 2007, I started teaching Spanish for Law Enforcement Telecommunicators, #22109. I have my instructor's certificate by TCLEOSE. I became recognized by several law enforcement agencies, I was being requested to teach Spanish for police academies to instruct the new recruits. To take my courses, the dispatchers would receive hours credit, the new police officer recruits would receive 24 hours credit as well. that was required for dispatchers to receive an intermediate certificate, and officers, it was mandatory. I then, started feeling accomplished, I started teaching Stress Management for Law Enforcement Telecommunicators. I stopped teaching because I wanted to finish my school degree. I am pursuing my associate degree in Social Work - Generalist. Once accomplished, I will purse my bachelor degree. I would like to be an LCDC - Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I have always wanted to help others, but I put my dreams on hold; because I also enjoyed the job I had at time.
