Taylor Sudnykovych

I grew up in North Palm Beach living with my Mother, Grandmother and Uncle. Growing up was different for me than most children that I went to school with - I had a single mother and I only saw my dad once a week. Seeing her struggle financially led me to getting a degree in Exercise Science to become an Endocrinologist; this is what I planned to study when I went to Florida State University for one semester. Quickly, I realized that this was not my path in life - that what I'm supposed to do is what I've been surrounding myself with all my life: working with children. Starting at the age of eight I attended the school where I now work; my Mother also started working there when I was eight years old. Thirteen years later and I am still where I started at such a young age. While volunteering I enjoyed every moment being with children but after leaving to attend school in Tallahassee I didn't realize until then that this is what I love doing. So I left Tallahassee so I could work at Peter Pan Preschool while attending school full time. Although I don't want to work at my current job my entire life, I would love to work in an elementary school setting with a focus on Social Studies and Geography. I'm about to receive my Associate's but I'm already ready to get started as a Teacher; I want to learn, teach, and share knowledge about the world with those who want to as well.
