My name is Tonya Casagni, and I am a registered nurse with over twenty years of hands‑on experience who is now pursuing my MSN‑FNP to expand the way I can serve my community. I’ve worked in long‑term care, orthopedics, ICU, and perioperative services, and each step has strengthened my commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care. Returning to graduate school while working full‑time has been challenging, but it has also reminded me why I chose nursing in the first place to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This scholarship would help me continue my education and move closer to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner who provides accessible, respectful, and high‑quality care to the people of Florida.
