Here on campus at Illinois State University (ISU), I try to keep myself busy and involved. I joined the ISU Clef Hangers, an a cappella group on campus. Throughout my first year here at ISU, the Clef Hangers have given me the support and structure I needed in my life. They even pushed me into a Pay it Forward spring break tour to better myself and help others with tasks they could not have tackled by themselves. Through this engagement and outlet, I feel that I have been able to succeed more than I could have by myself. Remaining active and interacting with others in a healthy manner is the key to successes. With the correct support system, anybody can reach their goals.
