About
Greetings!
My name is Trent and I am an ethical philosopher. Like many high school graduates, I first enrolled in college not because I had a vision to pursue, but because it was expected of me. Thankfully, this led me to philosophy and my first inclinations towards politics. After a hiatus from school to work fulltime and look inwards, I have returned with a clear academic path derived not out of societal obligation, but because of my fierce passion for cosmopolitan values, government accountability, and public trust.
I have grown up surrounded by political cynicism: The public perception is that our votes don't matter, politicians always lie, and government is inept and inefficient. Maybe they're right, but I'm not willing to accept it. I intend to pour the breadth of my knowledge and the depth of my talents into building a more educated society and a more ethical government.
