About

My Name is Trenton Ervin, I'm a junior at Snyder High School. I'm very active in my school and community. I'm currently attending Great Plains Vo-Tech and taking that Welding program and serve as an junior ambassador for them. I'm also vice-president for my junior class and serve on the HS StuCo. I have been in the Upward Bound program through WOSC and serve currently as the Vice President. My other activities in school is Snyder FFA, Snyder HS Band I play the trumpet. Sports: powerlifting and baseball. As you can see I stay very busy, but I'm very dependable and if there is something that needs to be done I make sure to get it done. I'm the first to show up and last to go home.

Goals and interests

Career goal: I would like to do firefighting and learning how to do control burns to help prevent the large fires any very tough terrain.
Outside the classroom: I enjoy playing music in the honor bands. I enjoy working out with my friends at the gym.

Experience

Farm Hand

I work for a local farmer and cut, bail and load hay nails. I help by keeping farm equipment up and running. Several other task around the farm.

Volunteering

I help with Southern Kiowa Chamber community events throughout the year. I've helped assemble Easter Eggs for the annual egg hunt. I help with the car show during the fall festival in September. I helped serve food at the Firestorm fundraiser for our local fire departments. At Christmas I help with set up and clean up for the giveaways after the SKC Christmas Parade.
